OKIE DIRT

Red dirt is a result of iron oxide in the soil. The higher the content of iron, the redder the soil. Red dirt is natural in many areas around the globe and Oklahoma is one of these areas.

Growing up on a small lake in central Oklahoma, it was a known fact that if we swam in those naturally red waters in anything white, that white would turn a clay tinged color and never be the same again...ever! Why fight it, right? Embrace the wonders of this soil and own a piece of OKIE DIRT!

We seek out the reddest soil, hand dig our dirt and hand dye our shirts. As native Oklahomans, it is a prideful process... and besides, who doesn't like playing in the mud?
